Place the seven levels of the classification scheme in order form largest to smallest. All organisms are classified into groups called KINGDOMS according to their cell and body structure. Each kingdom is divided into PHYLA(plural form), according to more specific characteristics.
Phyla are then divided in CLASSES that are subdivided into ORDERS. Each time that organisms are regrouped, the qualifying characteristics are more and more specific. Orders, in turn, are regrouped into FAMILIES and then into GENUSES, The final category is the SPECIES.
Each species is different and unique. Several species may be similiar, but no two are exactly the same.
